WoF, LIFT Social Brings Connection and Community to FTC
ORLANDO, FL–At the FTA Technical Conference, members of Women of Flexo (WoF) and Leaders Inspiring Flexo’s Tomorrow (LIFT) came together Monday, Sept. 22, for a joint social that blended networking, camaraderie, and celebration.
The evening was a highlight for many attendees, offering a relaxed space to connect after a day of technical sessions. James Buckingham of MicroDynamics shared, “As a newer member, the LIFT community makes it so easy to dive in without feeling lost or out of place. The events have a great balance between professionalism and personal relationship building, which I personally appreciate. The last WoF and LIFT social was a great way to wrap up the FTA Technical Conference.”
For Farrah Nuzzo of APEX International, the event reflected the true spirit of WoF: “I am proud to be part of the WoF community. At the WoF and LIFT Social during FTC, I felt genuinely comfortable, included, and engaged. Events like this remind me how important it is to create spaces where everyone feels welcome, valued, and empowered to contribute. The sense of community and support is what makes being part of FTA so impactful.”
The social also marked a milestone as the first official joint gathering between WoF and LIFT, something Rachel Acevedo of ACE Media & Marketing celebrated: “The Monday Social was the highlight of the FTC for me! After a full day packed with flexo innovations, trends and news, it was the perfect way to wind down and get the evening started. As the WoF R&E committee chair, I loved seeing our first joint event with other FTA communities come to life—it was such a blast! The room was filled with smiling faces, industry chatter, and mingling all around, and that is what it’s all about.”
Julianna Cezàrio, AB Flexo, Brazil, explained, “FTC was an amazing learning opportunity. I loved the round-table-discussions and moments for networking. I feel like I truly managed to make connections with everyone that was there, especially by arriving early for the breakfast meetings which managed to offer a relaxed but business-focused environment that was optimal for learning. As a woman in her early 20s, I loved to see the initiatives to help young people and women in our industry, and I’m hoping to be able to do more and more with both projects in the future.”
With strong participation, positive energy, and a spirit of inclusivity, the WoF and LIFT Social reinforced the value of community within FTA. The success of this event highlights the association’s commitment to creating spaces for professionals to connect, learn, and evolve together.
