Tinsey Named CEO at WS Packaging

BOSTON, MA—WS Packaging Group, Inc. has announced that Fred C. Tinsey has been appointed CEO effective March 31. Tinsey, a former WS Packaging director, joins the company from OE Quality Friction Corp., where he served as chairman, previously serving as CEO. From 1999 to 2005, he was president of Murray’s Discount Auto Stores. Earlier in his career he was a partner with the accounting firm Price Waterhouse and also served as vice president at K-Mart. He is currently a director of The Mattress Firm as well.

Tinsey replaces Rex Lane who has left the company to pursue a personal business opportunity.
