With the introduction of the tesa Softprint Secure Family of products for tag and label printers, tesa now offers a robust line of 10 flexographic printing tapes designed for mounting printing plates onto cylinders and sleeves for narrow web printing operations. The new tesa Softprint Secure 15 mil product family is comprised of three distinctive products, all of which are equipped with the same tried and true tesa signature closed cell foam and filmic reinforcement technology that promotes high quality results throughout the entire print run.
The defining feature of the new tesa Softprint Secure Family is its revolutionary adhesive system that has been specially developed to easily and securely mount flexographic printing plates onto print cylinders or sleeves, while at the same time allowing for easy repositioning to ensure optimized placement of the printing plate, as well as easy demounting of the plate upon job completion. The new adhesive system is coined the tesa SNAP-ON adhesive, which is based on a unique patented chemical formulation. This revolutionary adhesive is now available on the three new tesa Softprint Secure 15 mil products:
