FLORENCE, Italy—GIDUE, a leading Italian manufacturer of printing and converting machines for the labels and packaging industry, announces the appointment of Lance Shumaker as president of GIDUE North America.
Lance will be responsible for sales, customer support, marketing and operations for the North American market. The announcement was made today by Federico d’Annunzio, CEO of Nuova GIDUE.
The decision of adding a strong experienced person with a successful track record, more than 20 years of experience and great success in managing high technology graphic arts companies, is a big addition for GIDUE. Lance has held senior management positions with some of the most important companies in the industry. Advanced Vision Technology (AVT), Indigo, Scitex, and more recently Scodix. He was directly responsible for all North American operations and he has shown a good history in building and motivating the organizations in the U.S., Canada and Latin America.
Lance’s dedicated focus and experience will have a significant impact on both the market penetration and the sales of GIDUE machines in the North American market.
