FTA Seeks Nominations for 2025 “Legacy” Flexo Hall of Fame Inductee
BOHEMIA, NY–Induction into Flexographic Technical Association’s Flexo Hall of Fame has long been recognized as the highest honor bestowed on a flexographer; whether printer/converter, manufacturer, distributor, prepress professional, educator, consultant, association executive or brand owner.
Each year, since 1962, a deserving candidate—sometimes two–was elected by vote of all living Hall of Fame members. To date, 67 individuals who, over the course of their career, contributed greatly to the flexographic printing segment of the package printing and converting industry, as well as its most influential association, were formally pinned with FTA’s most prestigious badge.
Still, many other flexographers may likely be deserving of this honor, yet they escaped notice and never had the opportunity to attain this platitude. Sadly, they retired or passed away, taking them out of the spotlight and inadvertently out of contention.
Four years ago, Hall of Fame members established a program to remember such flexographic pioneers and have the most deserving of them join their ranks.
FTA’s first four Legacy Hall of Fame inductees are familiar names:
- Darryl Dochstader, Gar Doc Corp, 2021
- Danny Rich, Sun Chemical Corp, 2022
- Katherine Harper, Harper Corporation of America, 2023
- Luis Novaro, Distribuidora Gráfica Novaro, 2024
Members of the Flexo Hall of Fame now invite any FTA member to submit nominations for anyone that they feel deserving of this prestigious status for its nominating committee to consider.

If that proves more challenging than envisioned, simply email Nathan Ridnouer [email protected] or Dave Horsman at [email protected] to submit your nomination and explain exactly why you think that person should be in the FTA Flexo Hall of Fame through this Legacy program.
Do it soon! Fall Technical Conference is set for Orlando, FL, Sept. 21-23. To ensure the inductee gets full recognition at the event —to include a profile in the on-site edition of FLEXO Magazine—determination of the 68th member of FTA’s Flexo Hall of Fame will need to occur in early August—on or before the 10th of the month.
