SAU PAULO, Brazil—On Thursday, Sept. 14, FTA Europe gave the opening speech at the Intercontinental Conference on Flexography, organized by ABFlexo (the Brazilian Flexographic Technical Association) in Sau Paulo. The Intercontinental Conference is a biannual event where Brazilian and other Latin American flexo companies showcase and discuss flexography with experts and companies’ representatives. FTA Europe, as an institutional partner of ABFlexo, was invited to share the European flexo experience.
Luca Conti, on behalf of President Sante Conselvan and the entire FTA Europe, thanked ABFlexo for the invitation, addressing structure, activities and objectives of the European umbrella flexo association. Moreover, he highlighted some technical topics, synergies and market trends foreseen for the years to come. He also stressed the importance of a strong cooperation between flexo associations all around the world.
This invitation to Brazil follows the FTA Europe’s attendance of the FTA US Forum held in Phoenix in May this year, demonstrating the recognized role of FTA Europe at the international level. The Intercontinental Conference on Flexography was a great success, and it was confirmed to be the largest and most important event on flexography in Latin America. FTA Europe was pleased to have given its testimony and contribution to the success of the Conference.
