FORT MILL, SC—Wikoff Color Corp. is proud to announce the appointment of Evan Benbow, Ph.D. as assistant director of research. Evan will be responsible for overseeing water based and oil based ink product and water coatings development in addition to customer service operations.
“Evan brings a great deal of knowledge and a fresh perspective to our team, and we are excited to have him aboard,” adds Don Duncan, Ph.D., Wikoff’s director of research.
Prior to coming to Wikoff, Evan worked with exotic energy storage technologies for automotive and grid storage applications. He completed his B.S. in chemistry from Iowa State University in 2003 and obtained his Ph.D. at Florida State University in inorganic chemistry, specializing in metal alloys with exotic magnetic properties. Evan has 11 publications in peer reviewed journals as well as a patent.
Evan looks forward to the contributions he can make as an employee owner. His extensive knowledge in chemistry paired with his leadership skills make him a great fit for his new role at Wikoff.
