Comexi Opens New Moscow Office

GIRONA, SpainComexi, global supplier of solutions for the flexible packaging printing and converting industry, opens a new office in Moscow, Russia, to enhance the support provided to customers in this region and in all CIS countries. The formal announcement will be published during the group’s presence at RosUpack 2018 trade fair that will be held from June 26 until June 29, where Comexi will be located in the Pavilion 3, Hall 14, stand A531, and it will also present its new business director in this region, Alexander Rabassa, who will be assisting Comexi clients in Russia and CIS markets.

Alexander Rabassa will be working next to Ramon Xifra, Comexi vice president, who has been leading the commercial management in this area. Rabassa has wide commercial experience in the Russian flexible packaging industry and other international companies. He also has been leading international business developments at Russian companies, being responsible for major international tenders and equipment purchasing, international exhibitions and extension to CIS.

The new office in Russia will cover all CIS markets, Lithuania and Latvia, providing top sales assistance, immediate, faster and closer logistic support and spare parts service. “Establishing this new office and incrementing our presence in Russia is a significant step for Comexi, which will lead to further expansion in the region,” ensures Xifra. This new accomplishment has been made with the support of the Eurosale group, with great experience in the printing and converting sector.

Comexi has for many years counted on the support of its collaborators in the area with the companies Converplas, Tusson and the recent new agency in Lithuania and Latvia driven by Ronaldas Vaitekunas. Comexi will continue implementing its strategy across Russia and CIS countries, and from now on Eurosale Group will also become part of the Comexi team in Russia, providing logistical support and spare parts assistance to Comexi customers in Russia.

Comexi has had a growth of 15 percent in the last two years in the Russian area. This increment can mainly be due to the fact that local converters have registered more orders and average prices for packaging increased, which helped local producers to develop and invest in highly efficient and productive equipment to make a significant profit. This investment represents a very high percentage of customers who are committed to innovation, looking for the latest technologies in the flexible packaging industry and it is a clear example of Comexi’s rapid development in these regions.

“With this expansion, we strengthen our team and improve its responsiveness, offering a faster and closer response to the customer,” affirms Comexi vice president.
