Chemence to Open Technology Center

ALPHARETTA, GA—Chemence to open Technology Center (CTC) to cultivate product innovation in photopolymer platemaking and advance industry awareness on the relevance of liquid technology, including the reduced environmental footprint and lower cost.

“Given our focus on liquid photopolymer and innovation, launching this CTC to share with the industry was a no‐brainer,” stated John Maneira, Global Director, Chemence Graphics Division. With the cooperation and support of industry professionals, the Flexo industry will gain hard data about the different plate technologies. The CTC will also support decision‐makers in answering key questions: ‘How to choose the right technology? What is hype vs. reality? “What are the cost differences?'”

With over a dozen active liquid photopolymer systems, pre‐press software solutions, Jetsetters, and laser equipment, this campus will encourage industry‐wide participation in flexographic research and development to customize and expand applications for liquid technology. Decision makers who have P&L responsibility can evaluate ROI by viewing true data in a consultative environment without taking on the risk, disruption, and added cost of new equipment. The CTC welcomes trade, educational, and industry affiliates to participate, learn, and explore liquid photopolymer technology. It is this focus on “value first” combined with industry participation that will contribute to the innovations and future growth of liquid photopolymer technology.
