ROCHESTER, NY—Eastman Kodak Company has named Allan Brown as general manager of the Unified Workflow Solutions (UWS) business.
The UWS business includes KODAK PRINERGY Workflow, a leading print industry solution for workflow management. PRINERGY Workflow helps reduce costs and build a more efficient environment with improved control and automation based on industry standard specifications.
“Allan brings 25 years of experience in the print industry including software engineering and executive positions at Hewlett Packard and Xerox,” said Eric-Yves Mahe, Kodak’s president of software and solutions. “Allan’s extensive software experience in product development and operational excellence will be a great asset as we continue to strengthen our software business.”
Brown most recently was vice president and general manager of HP’s integrated workflow software unit. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Rochester, an M.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a B.S. in Computer Science from Tuskegee University.
