ACIMGA Names Calcagni President, Appoints New Officers

Marco Calcagni photoMILAN, Italy—Marco Calcagni (Omet) is the new president of ACIMGA for the two-year period 2013-2014. Calcagni will be flanked by Vice-President Aldo Peretti (Uteco Converting) and by the following offices:

Board of Directors: Ugo Barzanò, past president (IMS Deltamatic), Silvana Canette past president (Flexotecnica), Felice Rossini past president (Rossini), Daniele Barbui (ACE di Barbui Davide&Figli), Alberto Brivio (BP Agnati), Giovanni Cama (Cason), Alfredo Cerciello (Nordmeccanica), Costanza Cerutti (Cerutti Packaging Equipment), Fabrizio Della Casa (Sitma Machinery), Giorgio Petratto (Petratto).

Calcagni, born in Lecco on Sept. 2, 1966, is married to Paola Bartesaghi and has three children: Andrea, Sara and Luca.After obtaining a high-school diploma at Istituto Tecnico Badoni, Lecco; Calcagni joined Omet in 1987. In 2000 he was appointed vice president of Omet China and of Omet Americas in 2012. Vice President of ACIMGA since 2011, he is also an advisor to A.T.I.F. Milano (the Italian technical association for the development of Flexography) and member of the board of directors of the IT’S Tissue network.
