The Future of Flexographic Printing: Innovating the Printing Press and Beyond

Rodney Pennings
Director of Sales
Paper Converting Machine Co (PCMC)

As flexographic printers look to evolve for the future, they must understand the technological advancements currently available. And while printing presses are vital to any operation, it isn’t enough to simply replace a press with the newest model. For future success in flexo, printers should consider the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) within their facilities and look beyond the press to examine opportunities in other areas of the process, such as anilox cleaning. PCMC’s Meridian Laser Anilox Cleaner and SteadyPrint anti-bounce solution are examples of advanced technology shaping the future of flexographic printing operations.
