These are the reasons flexographers from across the country and around the world came to INFOFLEX 2018. Taking place May 6-7 inside the Indiana Convention Center, attendees took advantage of two days of exploring innovative products and services, examining trending technologies, and studying machinery demonstrations to secure business growth opportunities that will pay dividends for the foreseeable future.
With 308 total booths spanning nine aisles, this year’s INFOFLEX was the largest to date and marked the eighth year the show floor was completely sold out. More companies doubled, tripled or even quadrupled up on booth space than ever before. The INFOFLEX Solutions Theater offered 15 unique and detailed technical presentations, showcasing the newest and most essential technologies and covering topics like new screening software, scoring solutions, solvent-based inks, digital printing’s use cases, and slitting and rewinding’s future.
Both exhibitors and attendees alike were impressed with the size and scope of the show:
- INFOFLEX 2018 saw nearly three-dozen companies—33—exhibit for the first time
- Forty-two companies demonstrated their equipment on the show floor
- Sixty-seven companies had booth spaces larger than a 10-ft. x 10-ft.
Key industry segments were well represented: More than 200 exhibitors catered to flexible packaging, and more than 200 exhibitors catered to the label market; more than 150 exhibitors catered to folding cartons and more than 150 exhibitors catered to corrugated direct print.
