Elaborating on Flexography’s Pole Position at Forum 2019

Over the past 20 to 30 years, flexography has evolved into the premier package printing technology, making this a very exciting time for CPCs. In the past, CPCs looked at flexography as a necessary evil for producing small quantities on unique substrates that couldn’t be printed lithographically. Today, flexography can print on virtually any substrate while exceeding quality expectations once only met by other commercial printing processes.

In “Best Print Technology on the Planet,” a group of brand owner representatives will field questions from Forum 2019’s session chairs. These questions will be directly related to the topics that will be covered in the following four days.

Here’s a sampling of the questions brand owner representatives will be answering, and the subsequent sessions where their answers will be further explored:

  • How important is it for your brand to control color variation throughout your different stores and various light sources? to be covered in “FQC: Research Is the Key to a Successful Flexo Future”
  • Have any of the brand owners had Spot Color Tone Value (SCTV) implementation into any of their products? to be covered in “Gaining Control of Your Process: The Fingerprint”
  • How important is color management to the consistency and recognition of your brand as it relates to utilizing various flexographic processes? to be covered in “Gaining Control of Your Process: The Characterization”
