FTA Forum & INFOFLEX 2019 Return to New Orleans After 22-Year Absence

BOHEMIA, NY – June 20, 2017 – Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) today announced that Forum & INFOFLEX 2019 will take place May 5-8 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside and New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. This is the fourth time the city of New Orleans has hosted the annual event.

The first time flexographers assembled in The Crescent City for Forum was 1984. The 26th annual conference was an immense success, setting a new record for attendance at 975—200 higher than the previous record set only the year before.

FTA visited New Orleans again in 1990, with the mayor declaring the themed event, Managing Flexography in the 1990s, as “Flexo Week.”

Returning in 1997, during a time when many technological and market changes were underway in the flexographic industry, attendees learned the importance of Navigating the Seas of Change.

“FTA members will surely be excited to learn of the return to The Big Easy for Forum & INFOFLEX 2019,” states Mark Cisternino, FTA president. “New Orleans’ rich culture, history and fortitude provide the perfect energy for flexographers to gather, as they continue on their path of education, innovation and networking.”

As Forum & INFOFLEX 2018 approach, which will be held in Indianapolis, IN from May 6-9, planning and preparations are well underway for both events. Visit flexographic.wpengine.com for more information on past events and to stay up-to-date on new announcements.
