| The Environmental Committee consists of FTA members interested in environmental affairs. It includes a diverse group of printers, suppliers and educators, but they all have a common interest - to help flexographic printers make the most informed choices to improve the environment inside and outside their facilities, while also improving their operations.
Some of the activities the committee has participated in include: developing The Flexo Environment and the In-Plant Environmental Self-Assessment for Flexographic Printers, speaking and moderating at the National Environmental, Health and Safety Conference for the Graphic Communications Industries, commenting on proposed environmental regulations, providing input into the Design for the Environment Project and writing articles for FLEXO® magazine.
Environmental Committee members are at the forefront of learning about new environmental initiatives and have the opportunity to get involved early on in the development process. If you'd like to become more involved in environmental affairs, contact FTA at environment@flexography.org
