New & Improved for 2010!
At FTA we continually strive to improve the quality of our products, services and processes that contribute to the advancement of the flexographic industry, as well as the success of our member companies. New for 2010, we will employ Microsoft SharePoint Services in the judging process. All participants will be required to submit their entry electronically. No entry will be accepted in hard copy.

NEW JUDGING CRITERIA:
Entries will be judged by members of the Foundation of FTA Technical Advancement Council and scored equally in five specific areas. Written statements should not exceed 250 words.
Technical Achievement
- This category will be evaluated by the use of the new innovative technology produced by your company that contributes to the advancement of the flexographic industry.
- What did you achieve?
- How did you achieve it?
- Why do you believe this is an achievement?
Technical Impact on the Industry’s Future
- This category will be evaluated based on the description of your company’s assumptions of the product impact throughout the next 5 to 10 years.
Supporting Material Required
- This category will be evaluated on the following:
- Product marketing literature in PDF format.
- User manual in PDF format.
- Demonstration video or equivalent in digital format.
- Photos of end-use results (i.e. samples, product, etc.)
Description of Technology
- The technology must be described both clearly and accurately to ensure judges’ complete understanding.
- A detailed statement, picture in words, or an account that accurately provides a thorough representation of the product submitted.
User Testimonials (At least three (3) user companies must submit a letter including)
- A written declaration certifying the technology’s character and performance, along with the value of the technology to their manufacturing process. (i.e. how well it functions, return on investment, increases in productivity, etc.)
