The Flexographic Technical Association’s Annual Excellence in Flexography Awards Competition was first organized in 1960, and year-after-year it has grown in stature and industry recognition.
The competition is open to all flexographic printers, print buyers, and qualified graphic arts schools, throughout the world. FTA Members and non-members alike are invited to participate!
Each year, teams of expert judges are continually impressed with the level of technical achievements being realized by flexographic printer/converters across the board. Throughout its 45+ year history, the level of technical achievement, quality and consistency of execution represented by the entries has steadily improved. Competing converters today are able to match or surpass the quality of any other printing method. Indeed, as we consider the development and maturation of this unique technology as reflected by the quality of the entries in the Excellence in Flexography Awards Competition, it may be confidently stated that flexography has evolved to take its place alongside lithography and rotogravure.
The Excellence in Flexography Awards Competition has not only reflected the tremendous technological growth and achievement of flexographic converters, it has also been instrumental in contributing to that growth and achievement as printers pursue the prestige of displaying a winner’s plaque with its attendant benefits, competitive advantages and recognition. It is in such a pursuit that a printer will ultimately join the ranks of the truly accomplished… those organizations that are universally recognized as exemplifying excellence in all they do.
