TROY, OH—Spinnaker Coating LLC, a manufacturer and industry-leading service provider of pressure-sensitive paper and film products for the printing industry, introduces a new cover-up film product to their lineup: PrimeScan Cover.
“We are particularly excited to add PrimeScan Cover to our cover-up product portfolio,” said Joel Ulrich, roll product marketing manager. “Our Technical team has been working hard to create this technology and we hope to continue to expand/improve this portfolio in the future.”
PrimeScan Cover is a 3-mil. film that provides more than 98 percent opacity. The product can be printed on multiple platforms, including: flexo, thermal transfer and UV inkjet. In many cases, when someone needs a cover-up film product, they have to go with a metallized film to get the opacity needed. Those metallized products can be expensive and too rigid for certain applications. PrimeScan Cover provides a low-cost alternative and is available on Spinnaker’s industry-leading Trimless program.
“The versatility of PrimeScan Cover, from an economical and functional aspect, makes it a great fit for our line-up,” Ulrich added.
