The FlexSys™ FLIPSS™ is a software program that contains the majority of known print faults linked to a listing of causes, categorized by relationship to material condition, press component, or press setting. The print fault causes are dependant on the selections made for press configuration (Central Impression, In-Line, and Corrugated Sheet), ink type (UV, solvent, water and substrate type. Imagine the applications during actual production and scheduled training programs. The user can view the print and finishing (lamination, die cut, waste removal, slitting) outcome during an 'actual' press run, by using the FLIPSS™ they can evaluate the possible causes of the production problem and make educated adjustments to get production back on line quickly and correctly. The customization aspect allows your company to add new problems associated with an individual press or job, plus rank causes as they apply to unique situations. All print faults have detailed graphics, viewed on a monitor which enables the operator to identify the exact problem and communicate with a standard terminology throughout the company or with appropriate suppliers.
