1/6/2011 - Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) the world’s leading professional society dedicated to promoting and advancing the flexographic print process, proudly announces the launch of its re-engineered, more user-friendly website; located at www.flexography.org. The completely revamped site, with a fresh design and clean layout, affords an exceptional interactive experience that puts timely, relevant information at the fingertips of the flexographic printing professional.
FTA’s site, which serves as a key source of information, education and premium content, features:
All told, the new design allows individuals to effortlessly follow the full gamut of the Association’s activities, including events, new product releases, downloads, and much more.
FTA/FFTA President Mark Cisternino said “Every aspect of FTA’s new website ¬¬-– from the design to the functionality – was based on adding value for our members. Our new site boasts more intuitive navigation and straightforward presentation. Visitors can easily find the essential resources, content, networking links and knowledge-based resources needed to advance both the art & science of flexography and their own professional development.”
Katie Dubois, FTA’s graphic designer and creator of the site, commented “In conceptualizing the new site, we focused directly on the user’s experience. That meant developing an intuitive navigation structure, using enhanced imagery, and having content broken down into short, digestible pieces.” She added, “We also incorporated new technology into the mix, like embedded forms, which make it supremely easier for someone wanting to apply for a scholarship grant or wanting to learn more about the FIRST Operator Certification Program.”
While the new website is completely up-to-date and relays the most important information for the flexographic industry, the site is a continual work-in-progress. New features and additional content will be added in the weeks and months to come, especially as it relates to the Foundation of FTA’s upcoming Annual Forum & INFO*FLEX Exhibition (May 1-4, 2011; Indianapolis, IN). Be sure to check back often to stay abreast of the new developments.
